In short: Yohaku Haiku collects nothing, tracks nothing, and never connects to the network. Everything below just explains that in detail.

No data collection

Yohaku Haiku does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account system, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

No network access

The app works fully offline and never makes a network request. All haiku content is bundled with the app itself; nothing is downloaded, and nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere.

What's stored, and where

The app keeps a small amount of data, all of it locally on your device only:

Favorites — which poems you've marked, stored locally via SwiftData.
Settings — reading preferences such as text size, layout, furigana, and app language, stored locally via UserDefaults.

None of this ever leaves your device. There is no iCloud sync, no backend server, and no way for us to see it.

Third parties

Yohaku Haiku has no third-party dependencies, SDKs, or embedded services of any kind, and shares data with no one, because it collects none.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data from any user, it does not knowingly collect data from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this same address with an updated date above.
